Tax on money transfers from NZ to Aussie !!!!

• Hi,
  I am a resident of Australia and expecting to recieve in excess of $AUD100,000 from NZ.
  
  I have been told that I will probably have to pay tax on this amount, and also that my bank here in Australia must notify the ATO.... Is this correct???
