Internet
Internet access in Denmark
The highly competitive Danish Internet market has led to the development of excellent service coverage throughout the country. Denmark’s rate of Internet penetration is one of the highest in the world.
There is a decent range of Internet service providers to choose from in Denmark, each competing to offer the best prices to the consumer. The two biggest service providers in Denmark are TDC and Tele 2.
In many cases, high-speed Internet is offered as part of a package deal. This usually includes your Internet connection, a telephone line and possibly cable TV. Talk to the staff in high street stores to find the best deal to suit your needs. It may be that you only require Internet access and already have a fixed telephone line in place, so shop around with your own individual circumstances in mind.
Internet cafés in Denmark
Internet cafés are more common in and around Copenhagen than in other parts of the country, though you should find at least one in nearly every town. Internet cafés are a good way to access the Internet though they can be expensive in some places. Some hotels and restaurants have wireless hotspots where you can connect to their network using your laptop.
